It was Bree's gift to her two friends. A ten day cruise to the South Pacific, but something happens when the ship is taken a little off course. The passage booked, becomes a passage that is something from a nightmare.

Pacific Passage eBook PS Winn

A shipwreck story? Maybe, but if so with a definitely different wreck. Nonetheless the three main characters of the book, Bree, Hannah and Megan, find themselves stranded on an island after the cruise ship on which they are sailing has been cut in half by some mysterious kind of force. And they find there are already other occupants of the Island, one who was born there and many others. Each came at different times and in different ways. Some came by boat, some by airplane. Amy, who was born on the island, as was her mother, also have a grandmother who lives there.
The rite of passage of the passengers and the Captain of the cruise ship occurs in a variety of ways. Some are major twists to the story which I will leave untold in this review. Life and death are part of the story. The fear of the unknown, the determination to survive, the process of acceptance of a kind of cruel separation from family and friends are all part of the story. And it is a good one with a very big surprise as its ending.
Anyone could read and enjoy this novel as I did. It is fast paced and adventuresome in the reading of the tale. I really enjoyed it as I read it very quickly in one sitting. It fits any age, has no limitations on it that I would place there. Another fine story by P.S. Winn, a really good author. Thanks for the opportunity Ms. Winn to read this wonderful little story.

Pacific Passage eBook PS Winn Reviews

‘Pacific Passage’ is the latest offering from the prolific story-teller, P.S. Winn. In this unusual novel, readers are initially promised a quick, easy-to-read romance-adventure. The main character, Brianne Jones appears to have hit the jackpot after quitting her job, escaping from an unpleasant boss and winning a ten-day luxury South Pacific cruise. She decides to cash in the expensive ticket to buy three regular fares so she can bring her two best friends, Megan and Hannah along. On the cruise, the girls quickly settle into the good life and meet three boys. At this stage I was expecting a predictable romance, but a supernatural phenomenon on the ocean throws the girls into a perilous situation they could never have bargained for.

‘Pacific Passage’ overflows with twists and turns, many of them quite shocking ... all the way to the final reveal. If you’re planning on a summer cruise, after reading this you might want to reconsider your next holiday. An entertaining, fast and fun read!
This was purchased from Canada so a review can be found there as well.

This is another great book by P.S Winn. This is the third book I have read from her.

This is a quick read with very relatable characters. Bree, Hannah, and Megan are stranded on an island after a shipwreck. This has great action scenes, great relatable characters and a lot of twist and turns. In the first part of the book, the brief romance was refreshing and getting in the second part of the book, I enjoyed how it shifted into science fiction. Two ways of the way through I thought I had figured out how it was going to end, but the final twist caught me off guard. Recommended read.
This is an exciting story with a very surprising ending. If you enjoy stories about being shipwrecked on a remote island you will like this novel. Realistic interaction among the characters kept the story moving along nicely. Some grammatical errors were distracting, especially early on in the story.
A fast paced adventure with a surprising twist. Pacific Passage makes a great beach or poolside read. A little heavy on the dialogue but fun overall.
I enjoyed Author P.S. Winn's book very much. I started the book and kept reading without putting it down until I finished. I just had to know what happened and why. I enjoyed the twist at the end. Her books leave me wondering if these things could really happen and what I would do if they did. Love her style of writing.
Pacific Passage by.P.S. Winn is not what I expected. Bree, the protagonist, wins a luxury cruise which she trades in for 3 regular tickets and invites her two best friends. The cruise starts off great. The girls are having the time of their life until the ship they are on, The Pacificus, travels straight into a disturbance over the water. The disturbance materializes out of nowhere, once through it is where the adventure really begins. They land on a mysterious island full of magic, mystery, and intriguing characters. There is conflict, action and plenty of lively characters to make this novella an excellent read, and distract the reader from the ending which took me by surprise.

Pacific Passage was the first of P.S. Winn’s novels I’ve read, although most certainly not the last.
Review by Robert K. Swisher Jr.

A Roller Coaster ride from tranquility to the center of a nightmare. I enjoyed the plot. I enjoyed the characters. I was unable to guess the end. A great escape.
